OUTSTANDING YOUNG WATER ENVIRONMENT PROFESSIONAL


This award recognizes the contributions of young professionals in the water environment field. This award is presented annually to the young professional whose contributions to the wastewater collection and treatment industry most deserves recognition. The award consists of a plaque suitably inscribed with the recipient's name.

Criteria:

  1. Nominee must be a member of a Federation Member Association and 35 years old or younger at the time of nomination.

  2. The nominee should demonstrate strong contributions to solving the problems and enhancing the activities of the Water Environment Federation, including stimulation of membership, contributions to Member Associations, WEF Committees, and/or improvement in the fundamental knowledge of performance of wastewater collection and treatment systems, water resource protection, and research on issues important to the water environment.

  • Nomination Form
  • One page biography of the nominee
  • Specific reasons for nomination (one page maximum)
  • Any other supporting material required under criteria or that you feel would be helpful in the selection process.

Eight copies of nomination material should reach the Water Environment Federation Awards Department by April 1.
