The Member Association Awards are established
to recognize outstanding Member Associations and Member Associations
that excel in areas of membership retention, financial strength,
new memberships, scholarship programs, student achievement
and support, technology transfers, and/or award programs.
The award consists of a plaque suitably inscribed with the
recipient's name.
Nominations are considered in two categories:
- The Outstanding
Member Association Award will
be presented to one MA with achievements in multiple
areas (see criteria list below).
- The Member Association Achievement
Award will be presented
to one MA with an outstanding achievement.
In addition, nominations will be considered
in three categories:
- MA's with membership of less than 500
- MA's with membership greater than 500
- International MA's
Criteria:
- Position of financial strength
- Membership retention
- New Membership
- Scholarship Program
- Student Achievement and Support
- Technology transfer
- Awards program and participation
Submit:
- Nomination Form.
- One page biography of the nominee
- Specific reasons for nomination (two page
maximum)
- Description of programs and achievements
(as appendix)
Nominations Deadline:
Eight copies of nomination material must
reach the WEF Awards Department by April 1.
