HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT AWARD



The Hazardous Waste Management award recognizes an individual for their efforts in promoting quality technical and/or management performance in activities and professionalism within and on behalf of the field of hazardous waste management.

Criteria:

  1. Must be a member of the Water Environment Federation.

  2. Demonstrated efforts to upgrade professionalism for and among peers.

  3. Organized/actively participated in professional groups dedicated to hazardous waste management.

  4. Disseminated technical and/or management information within the field.

  5. Developed/participated in programs to inform and educate the public about hazardous waste management.

  6. Found means of organizing, funding and implementing effective private and public programs to solve hazardous waste problems.

  7. Attracted professionals of many disciplines to participate in professional programs and activities in hazardous waste management.


Submit:

  • Nomination Form
  • One page biography of the nominee
  • Specific reasons for nomination (one page maximum)
  • Any other supporting material required under criteria or that you feel would be helpful in the selection process.

Eight copies of nomination materials should reach the Water Environment Federation Awards Department by April 1.
