CHARLES ALVIN EMERSON MEDAL for OUTSTANDING SERVICE to the WASTEWATER COLLECTION & TREATMENT INDUSTRY


This award commemorates the service of Charles Alvin Emerson who was the first president of the Federation, serving from 1928 to 1941, and was its first honorary member. This award is presented to an individual whose contributions to the wastewater collection and treatment industry most deserves recognition.


Criteria:

  1. Nominee must be a member of a Federation Member Association.

  2. Particular emphasis is given to the nominee's involvement in the problems and activities of the Water Environment Federation, including the stimulation of membership, improving standards of techniques of wastewater treatment, water resource protection, and fostering fundamental research.

  • One page biography of the nominee
  • Specific reasons for nomination (one page maximum)
  • Any other supporting material required under criteria or that you feel would be helpful in the selection process.
