THOMAS R. CAMP MEDAL for BASIC RESEARCH CONTRIBUTIONS to WASTEWATER APPLICATIONS


This medal was established in honor of Thomas R. Camp, an outstanding educator, consultant, and writer whose contributions to applied research have guided design criteria in many aspects of water pollution control. The medal is awarded to a member who demonstrates a unique application of basic research or fundamental principles through the design or development of a wastewater collection or treatment system.

Criteria:

  1. Must be a member of a Federation Member Association.

  2. Nominations must demonstrate a unique application of basic research or fundamental principles through the design or development of a wastewater collection or treatment system.

  3. Nominations must include a complete project description.


Submit:

  • Nomination Form
  • One page biography of the nominee
  • Specific reasons for nomination (one page maximum)
  • Any other supporting material required under criteria or that you feel would be helpful in the selection process.

Nomination Deadline:

Eight copies of nomination materials should reach the Water Environment Federation Awards Department by April 1.
