This award may be presented
annually to any one whom, in the opinion of the Awards
Committee, has presented the best paper before the annual
meeting, or
one of the various educational meetings, of the
association membership. Each committee shall receive the
papers they sponsored throughout the year for their review.
Each committee shall
be responsible for evaluating their group of papers and
nominating one paper for the Outstanding Paper Award. The
Awards Committee
will receive
each committee’s nomination and shall determine the final award
winner from those nominated from each committee.
This award shall be based on the following considerations:
Originality
Informational value
Composition
Clarity and aptness of thought
Preparation
*Form
Presentation
Publication in the Federation Journal
* A Power Point presentation
will be accepted for consideration, if each slide includes
the “NOTES” at
the bottom of each slide presented
Copies of papers shall be forwarded by the committees
sponsoring seminars and programs to the various committees
no later than three (3) months after the
annual meeting. The nominee from each committee shall be made to the Awards
Committee
for judging by August 1st of each year.
The award shall consist of a suitable mounted or framed certificate, which
shall indicate the title of the award paper.
